3 WINTER VIEW (7/5) CLOSER-Multi G3 winner (2 back) must be respected after posting 2 triple digit speed figures (BRIS 100, 101) in last two starts before the 2+ month layoff which she returns from today (Jonathan Sheppard 15%-46% w/46-90 day layoffs); best turf speed is fastest of these (BRIS 101) and she is undefeated at today’s distance. 1 LEMONETTE (2/1) CLOSER-is the first part of the 3 horse Eric Reed entry (includes 1A POLO LOUNGE-CLOSER, and 1X SWEET AND FLAWLESS-Presser) and enters off a close up 2nd vs tougher G3 foes in the Glen Falls H. last time out at the Spa in which the 6YO daughter of Lemon Drop Kid ran a BRIS 95; has a win for 2 starts over the AP turf course and is also 1 for 2 at 12 panels. I also like the chances of Sweet and Flawless to take a share with best as she tries the lawn for the first time (Reed 77 9%-35% with turf debuts); she is a daughter of Unbridled’s Song whose progeny win first on turf at an  11% clip. Faced tougher G1 competition in the Alabama last start, finishing a distant 4th. 2 BALLYNOE (4/1) PRESSER-4YO daughter of Distorted Humor comes back from a 56 day rest (22%-50%) for the barn of Tom Proctor who removes the blinkers today (8 12%-38%). Ran 3rd vs similar last start in the 50K Gaily over the AP turf and in fact is somewhat of a HFC (3 1-1-1).  4 CARAVAN THUNDER (9/2) Presser-ran a decent 2nd at today’s distance two starts back in the 50K Gaily behind winner Lemonette and goes polytrack to turf today (8 25%-38%) with hot jock Jesse Campbell in the irons (24 7-3-2 the last 7 days).
