2 RESEARCHER represents strong speed, class and ability at this distance and racetrack - Clearly the one the rest will have to beat. #6 RODMAN is coming off a very good allowance win and if he can run back to his last, he may be a tough one to get by in the stretch. 4 HONOUR DEVIL got away with ridiculously slow early fractions in his last and his strong stretch performance will be overated by some selectors. The dark horse is 8 STORM PLAY who takes another step forward on the comeback trail. His last start in September in a sprint was OK as a prep for a distance opportunity but why so long between starts.
