Weather report calls for sunny skies during the day after heavy rain Tuesday night.  I have handicapped all the races to stay on the grass including the spotlight Race #8.

SKY BLAZER gets the nod out of his maiden win over the Gulfstream turn in early April.  The major reason why he is the selection is because what horse finished third in that race.  SKY BLAZER was able to finish almost a length in front of the super talented STREET GAME.  STREET GAME has won two straight races since that race.  Both wins were of the highlight variety.  So it looks as if SKY BLAZER beat a future stakes winner.  Barclay Tagg has given him a little freshening since the tough maiden win.  Believe he will run a strong race first time against winners.

TRIP NOTES from Saturday: COOPER RIVER ran in place with no real excuses.  The pace of the race came up a bit soft but he was simply unable to change gears.  Don't be surprised to see this guy going two turns eventually.
