With the turf races a bit of a question mark because of the weather, I decided to tackle Race #3.

QUICK MONEY draws my attention after getting beat soundly in last start at 6.5 furlongs.  Actually finished behind MAKE NOTE and CITY TROOPER in that race.  I think this colt can turn the tables today.  He cuts back to six furlongs today which is huge help.  Even more important is the pace scenario.  Last time he dueled through wicked splits.  Today it looks as if he should be able to clear off the opening quarter.  If Velasquez can get him clear early then he has a great chance of stealing this race.  His main rivals look to be the morning line favorites:  WON GREAT CLASSIC and RAYNICK'S JET.
