Another great call from Tom Durkin as "Pink" was the theme for the ladies all over Churchill Downs today on behalf of numerous worthy charities and of course Blind Luck's electrifying win was in the bright pink silks of the owners. She passed em all from 14th down the backside to 1st by a nose going 5 wide on the turn under R Bejarano. Amazing win from an amazing filly!!---As for the rest of the day--Rachel loses by a head but I read all of Jess Jacksons quotes and I will hold out hope that this is part of a much bigger plan to allow her to peak when it counts on the championship days of 2010. Congratulations to the Jay Em Ess stable as their Arson Squad steps to the head of the handicap division with an easy win in the Alysheba at the age of 7. Tomorrow will be interesting to say the least. The Derby is so wide open that the favorite is still 7-1 (Super Saver) and the 2nd choice is 9-1 (Lookin At Lucky) as we all go to bed tonight. The track will be under water if the forecast holds but we are ready for all the action and excited about the 6-pack of quality stakes action that is on the menu. Dont miss our radio show live at 9 a.m. pacific time on Sat morning live here on the website. We will interview David Lanzman who owned last year’s Kentucky Derby favorite I Want Revenge who like this year’s probable favorite couldn’t make it to the gate to start. David is candid and we’re looking forward to his thoughts. I am really excited about our full derby report--it appears loaded with value!!!!---Time to rest up and get ready for Kentucky Derby 136!!!!!
