A filly and mare stand out for several reasons, including the highest speed figures: Love’s Blush and Miss Singhsix. Some handicappers say small field, big odds, but the four outsiders in this non-graded stakes race have only one victory each in a total of 33 starts since last year.

Love’s Blush is 2 for 2 at Laurel since getting front wraps. Jockey Travel L. Dunkleberger is 40 percent winners in 30 races for trainer Rodney Jenkins. The daughter of Not for Love scored at 1 1/8 miles in November at Laurel where she’s 2-1-1 of 6.

Miss Singhsix with loads of back class comes in from South Florida where she finished second in a Calder stakes race. Trainer Marty Wolfson has triumphed 26 percent with shippers in 138 outings.

You can get out the dartboard to include a longshot in the exotics. However, Princess Nyla has J. D. Acosta in the irons, 2-3-3 of 8 on the daughter of Lion Hearted, mostly at the Maryland track.
