Despite all of the options, the horse that appears to stick out on paper would have to be #7 Fascinatin' Rhythm. The 4-year-old daughter of More Than Ready had a sensational 2008, although 2009 has not gone entirely as planned. She's winless in seven starts thus far this year, but ought to have a strong shot here against this field to earn her first stakes win, as she's versatile enough to either be part of the pace factor, or rate from off the pace.

Underneath the favorite, there are several horses I think could make some noise in here, including #4 Lucky You (6/1), #8 My Misty's Echo (6/1), #1 For Sally (10/1), #5 Heaven's Voice (8/1), and the lightly raced #3 Fiery Glow (5/1).

Ultimately, I sided with Lucky You and My Misty's Echo as my 2nd and 3rd choices. Lucky You is proven at both the distance and at Laurel, and also has a tendency to run well in her 2nd start from a layoff. My Misty's Echo will give 7 furlongs another try for trainer Damon Dilodovico, who has basically turned eveything he's touched into gold this year (34% winners thus far at the current meet).
