Laruel Race 8 - Saturday 11/21/09 A field of 8 will line up for this conditional Allowance race on the main track at Laurel. Much will be determined by the pace scenario. #2 Amazin Sun has some speed and will likely have to show it due to the inside post draw. The son of Louis Quatorze could be pressed a bit by #7 Friskie J and/or #5 Lamster from the outside. I like #5 Our Revenge in this spot. True, the son of Stephen Got Even has never faced winners before, but if his last race was any indication he may be able to clear this condition relatively quickly. The best horses at a given track often do. Trainer Michael Trombetta typically knows how to keep them going once the proverbial light has gone on. Unfortunately, the morning line odds of 3/1 aren't the most appealing. Underneath I think #6 Ham and Ernie is a must use in the Exacta and Trfiecta plays. He's got an uncanny ability for winding up on the board, or at least as part of the Superfecta, but his wins are few and far between. I also like #3 Dancing Digits in here, and would certainly give #2 Amazin Sun a shot to hit the board if he gets loose on the lead. On his absolute best stuff, #7 Friskie J could wind up hitting the board as well, and might be worth inclusion based on his tote board value (currently 6/1). W- #5 Our Revenge (3/1) P - #6 Ham and Ernie (5/2*) S - #3 Dancing Digits (3/1) Best of luck!
