An interesting collection of conditioned claimers at 7 furlongs on the grass, this claiming race may offer a bit of value. ECHO IN ETERNITY is the logical choice with Dominguez off a big performance at The Spa last time, in first claiming action. Two problems I have with this one: the $240,000 Keeneland purchase was given up on by connections pretty quickly, having shown some talent in first 5 turf races including good maiden score at Gulfstream. And, that last race looks good on paper, but he lost his action seemingly for no reason on the far turn before re-rallying, possibly a harbinger of a physical problem. Again, obvious contender, but will land elsewhere for my selection.

KEY VICTORY (#4) is only 1 for 24 lifetime, but has done all his best work at Belmont where his lone victory came, and he's 50% in the exacta on the turf here from 8 starts. His last race was an excellent try on the inner turf, as he was caught between horses, steadied and came on nicely to easily run second and also was the gallop out winner. Has had problems putting races back-to-back in the past, but with the move from 6F to 7F and the cozier post, he should be able to work out a better trip. I will just bet flat this week as his price should at least approach 10-1, possibly better. A staggered WPS wager on the lines of 100/200/300 seems a good way to go (or any increments you are comfortable with). If you are inclined to play exotics, #(8) BOHEMIA STREET should be finishing well off the drop. The 1 entry, 2 and 6 are also usable. After all this, Dominguez will probably air, but where's the fun in playing that? As always happy hunting (winners) and have a great weekend.
