Saturday's 9th race at Laurel Park, an N3X $32k optional claimer for fillies and mares 3 and up is highlighted by the presence of #7 Julia Tuttle, a stakes placed daughter of Giant's Causeway that has banged heads with Grade 3 company several times in recent efforts.

JULIA TUTTLE has a class advantage over this field, but has had some trouble finding the winner's circle over the 1 1/16 mile distance that today's race will be run. I expect that to change on Saturday.

Her main competition should come from #6 ZIGGLY, who has thrived at the distance running against claimers. Note, however, that Ziggly was defeated by Julia Tuttle at this very distance on May 15 at Pimlico, and that Julia "lacked room" in the stretch.

I'll play Julia Tuttle for the win. For the exotics, I'll add in Ziggly, #9 Kissamee Glitter, and #8 Delightful Star underneath.

As a heart play I'll be adding in Graham Motion's #5 Magger Bags, as I had the opportunity to feed this horse several months ago.

Selections:

- #7 Julia Tuttle to win

- Exacta: 7/ 5,6,8,9

- Trifecta: 7/ 6,8,9/ 5,6,8,9
