#4 UNUSUAL SUSPECT
#7 CHURCH SERVICE
#6 DUBIOUS MISS
#5 WICKED STYLE

COMMENTS:

4 UNUSUAL SUSPECT (4/1) STALKER-ran a ground-saver against tougher in the G2 Delmar H. last start, beaten just 2 ½ L and the 5YO will get a rider switch to hot jock (23 7-8-2 the last 7 days ) Junior Alvarado in the irons today.  Likes to come from a bit off the pace.

7 CHURCH SERVICE (2/1) CLOSER-ran a good third last time out in the 150K Cougar II H. at Delmar and figures to improve with this 2nd start off the layoff (Mike Mitchell 14%-45% with angle); the 6YO son of Pulpit has been hitting the board consistently as of late but hasn’t won since his Lone Star Park G3 win in the Dallas Turf Cup H. in May 2008. Maybe he can turn things around today.  Threat.

6 DUBIOUS MISS (6/1) STALKER-the 5YO Paul McGee charge can show pretty excellent speed from time to time and enters this off a sharp 5f ft BULLET drill on 8/30 at AP in :59 H, clocking best of 50 that day/distance.  May be a decent VALUE play.  Is 2 for 3 across the all-weather surface.

5 WICKED STYLE (8/1) STALKER-4 YO son of Macho Uno has good early ability and enters off an optional claiming/allowance win over this very oval where he is 2 for 3 and seems to like the polytrack (5 3-1-0).
