COMMENTS

3 WAKEUPBRANDON (9/2) STALKER-This 3YO gelded son of Winning Bid (Gone West) came close last start vs similar stock after veering out sharply and had to settle for 2nd best.  Ran a decent BRIS 93 in that and has a good record on the polytrack (5 1-2-1). Has shown good tactical ability and should be very close to the pace. Inez Karlsson is in the saddle again for trainer Roger Brueggemann. 6 EXECUTIVE COACH (3/1) STALKER-finished behind my top pick last start against similar and has an excellent record on the all-weather surface (5 2-2-1) and is a horse-for-course (5 2-2-1); has been in this entry level condition for some time but has the speed to be a threat again today. Trainer Jimmy Divito is havng a great meet (68 16-10-13 24%) and sticks with regular rider Diego Sanchez. 8 IRON VOW (5/1) PRESSER-makes the often fruitful third start off the layoff after making a middle move last start while going 4 wide and finishing 4th. His best dirt speed is fastest of these (BRIS 97) which was run just 2 starts ago when finishing a very close 2nd against similar. The 4YO is only 1 for 17 lifetime but can at least grab a share with best.  James McMullen (31 7-3-4 23%) trains this gelded son of Broken Vow.  5 PIRATES VOW (7/2) STALKER-This 3 YO gelded son of Broken Vow has been racing on the turf in his last 3 starts and returns to the polytrack where he ran a very good second in his first try on the surface; trainer Tony Granitz is (16 12%-31%) with horses going turf to all weather and this one makes the third start off the layoff today with Jermaine Bridgmohan back in the irons.
