Any yet another tough fought battle! ajpeapod takes the profit category with a fantastic late surge.. barely beating Triboxman by $0.60.. and in the points category its bershir with another excellent performance.. great work! thanks everyone for playing!

 

10/31 Keeneland Contest:

Wow! what a finish.. so hats off to winner hacker who hung on to win the profit category by $0.20, and a great finish by FAITHANNPOWELL who had Formulaforsuccess on 10/29 and almost took it! Great work across the board!

And in the points category, congrats to exactaexpress who took it with 36 points holding off the great bershir who many of you will recognize as he has hit the winners circle a few times in this contest.. Excellent work from both of these great players!

In a very exciting finish to the Delta Downs meet, both leaders heading into the final week held off their challengers.

Iplay2win won the profit category with a profit of $29.80 for the overall contest, and naenae won the point category by 1 with 41 total points.

Both have earned 10 entries in the Kentucky Derby ticket drawing!

We have tight races in both categories heading into the last week of the abbreviated Delta Downs meet.

Iplay2win holds a $2.40 lead in the profit category over bigredone, with jean neal only another .20 behind.

The point category is tight as well with naenae holding a 2 point lead over horseking and several others right on his heels.

It couldn't have gone much better for Allstar Jim at Laurel Park last week. Allstar Jim went a perfect 4 for 4, won both categories, earned 2 entries in the drawing, and has a "goodie bag" on the way...

New contest week kicks off tomorrow...

The final 4 weeks of the Delta Downs meet will count as a meet and the overall meet winners will receive 10 entries in the KY ticket drawing. Big opportunity so start handicapping.

Wow a week without weather related race cancellations. Hard to believe...

Delta Downs will be added to the contest tracks starting this Wednesday. Delta Downs will also be chipping in shirts and hats for our weekly winners!

broadway148, jerryd, and LarrytheTout all went a perfect 5 for 5 at Aqueduct! Very impressive. All 3 receive 2 entries in the KY Derby drawing...

Please note that there must be at least 3 contest races in order to award weekly winners. Laurel Park and Turfway Park did not meet that minimum this week.

It's contagious. Racing has been canceled today at Santa Anita..

Anyone have the Superbowl winner? I have lost the last 4 in a row so I have given up on my own opinion.

njbred had a perfect week at Golden Gate Fields going 4 for 4 and not surprisingly won both the profit and point categories. njbred earned 2 entries in the Kentucky Derby Ticket drawing. It's tough to beat perfection...

The lengthy Calder meet has now concluded. broadway148 took all drama out of the point category winning by 44 points with a total of 227 for the meet.

The profit category was much more competitive with Ky Blue Bloods winning the profit category by only $5.40 with a total profit of $155.00. A 100-1 shot winner goes a long way...

Racing at Calder is now closed and results for the meet should be final tomorrow. Gulfstream Park is now open and tomorrow’s featured contest race is the G3 Hals Hope Stakes.

Nine people were tied in the points category at Churchill Downs last week. momison won the tiebreaker by 20 cents! Remember, the tiebreaker is your standing in the other category.

Bombs away at Calder! Antifreezette won the weekly profit category and stormed up the leaderboard by catching a 102-1 longshot winner. She also followed that up with a $24.40 winner...

Also at Calder, KELSOPETE had 2 winners and 2 place finishes to win the point category by 2 with a total of 12 points for the week.

deadmoneyokie and dmcnj led the profit and points categories at Oak Tree going into closing weekend. They both held on and took the meet in those categories and won 10 entrief in the Kentucky Derby tickets drawing.

deadmoneyokie won the profit category with a total profit of $85.20 for the meet.

dmcnj won the points category with a total of 66 points for the meet and won 12 of 30 races played.

The Keeneland meet is now in the books. noel2115 won the profit category with a total profit of $47.40, winning 7 out of 16 races.

jmar came on strong by winning the last 5 races and won the points category with a total of 36 points...

Huge start to the Del Mar contest for whirlahoss who won the profit category with a weekly profit of $96.60 which included 3 double digit winners!   Not surprisingly he also won the points category with 14 and earned 2 entries into the drawing!
 
Saratoga is still open with today’s race 9 closing out the week. Lion is narrowly leading in the profit category and locked in a 5 way tie in the points category. Good luck to all.
 
The Laurel Park contest opened Saturday. Due to the “mini meet” structure to the summer schedule there will not be weekly winners. This is for Laurel Park only. We will have weekly winners when racing moves to 4 days a week. All race days will count toward the overall meet and the contest will end on September 26 – 3 days before our Breeders’ Cup ticket drawing. Remember you must play at least 10 times in order to be eligible to win a meet and win 10 entries into the drawing.
