Can GRAND COUTURIER {looks to be rounding back into form} become the first horse to win the Sword Dancer for the third straight year or will the ten years old 2004 Sword Dancer winner BETTER TALK NOW {classy old horse, dead closer} win the race on the grass at the Spa. In a race where the pace figures to be soft, a case could be made for almost any of these. With only one true speed horse in the race MUSKETIER {just missed in the Man O’ War} out side post could be a problem, may get some early presser from AMERICAIN {working well for Pletcher, 1st time lasix}. QUIJANO {is a six time winner at a 1 ½ with 11 out of 16 in the money at the distance} will be mid-pack and should make the 1st run at the leaders, that will open up the flood gates for the late runners, BRASS HAT {running well} may one of the late running, at a price.
