The speed in this race is highly suspect so the race sets up for pressers and the best presser of the bunch should be #4 Gilded Thread. While Gilded Thread's last 2 races do not look good -- in terrible trouble in its last race, and in way over her head two races back -- but if you go three races back, she ran a game second against this class level and gets back the jockey who piloted her in that fine race. What is amazing is that this horse's morning line is 30-1. Believe it or not, Gilded Thread is an amazing 7 lengths better than its closest competition in deep closer #6 What Will Be. Other deep closers which might light the board include #11 Robyns Anthem and #13 Four Karats.
This race truly fits #4 Gilded Thread's skills as she is back at the proper class level with the right pace scenario. This is a chance for a major score at high odds. Don't miss it.
