8.0 FURLONGS TURF GRADE II THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD STAKES $150,000.00 PURSE
#4 THORN SONG
#3 WISE RIVER
#5 MR. SIDNEY
#1 INCA KING
#4 THORN SONG takes a class drop (-5) to enter this graded stakes affair this afternoon, and is the overall speed leader in this field racing at the mile distance on the turf. He's coming off a "POWER RUN WIN" facing better company in his last start, 39 days ago in a Grade I race at Hollywood Park. Jockey, Mike Smith, was in his irons for that win, which produced a whopping +960% return on investment in the process. Smith "ships in" today for his 2nd ride, gunning for back-to-back "Circle Trips." #3 WISE RIVER, a 6-1 shot, has produced "POWER RUN PERFORMANCES" in 5 straight, hitting the board in four, including a pair of "POWER RUN WINS" being embedded in this recent streak of racing consistency. The 4-1 shot, #5 MR. SIDNEY is the pace profile leader, and is a perfect 4-for-4 into "The Circle" racing at today's distance on the grass.
