Maiden—5 Furlong Turf—3 Year-Old Fillies

On the final day of the meet, the feature race is a Maiden Sprint Turf affair for three year- old fillies. Appears to be a great betting race in that contenders look evenly matched. Looking for a lightly-raced filly that may have had encountered some trouble or gets a change or two today.
#3 Megyns Mom (11-1) finally gets the lawn she has been pointed for. Has no mud breeding and ran an even effort in the goo last out. In her prior race, she broke slow, was rushed and held her ground for 4th. Nice effort. Gets blinkers today, Bridgmohan sticks and look for a big improvement here on the third race after the long layoff. Will have to overcome weak trainer stats and no work since 12/18.
#2 Precious Lady (6-1) is bred well for dashes on the lawn. Is well placed here and picks up Edgar Prado for a much better effort today. Will return to a front-running approach in this one and has the pace numbers to get the job done.
#9 Halcyon Days (7-2) has a good effort on the turf at this distance. Last two races were taken off the turf and her efforts on the sand were below par. Luis Saez stays in the saddle and will head to the lead early. Has the pace numbers to compete.
#11 Rosalinda (5-1) ran well in her debut, has some turf breeding and sports a sharp recent work. Was the beaten favorite last out. Contender here for the win spot. #7 Boogie Woogie (6-1) has some turf breeding on the broodmare side and will try to win this one from off the pace. Has the best stamina of this bunch but lacks the necessary early speed. Cruz sticks. #5 Measure The Dance (6-1) has the best pace numbers but has yet to run on the grass. Breeding and trainer stats say better on dirt but consider in your exotics. Of the first timers, consider #6 Genil (15-1) for the bottom of your tickets.
