A field of eight fillies and mares go post ward in this highly contentious sprint affair. Any one of six has the ability to win this race so we’ll need to dig deep into the handicapping tool box to narrow down the most likely winner.
#6 Exclusive Woman (7-1) offers the most intriguing possibilities. This is her third trainer change in as many starts. Seems Hector Mackinze recognizes that this filly is much better on dirt and has her back there today where she is 7 for 11 in the $ at Calder. This is her second off the layoff and jockey Abel Lezcano (4 for 6 in the $ for Mackinzie) returns to ride. She will stalk just off the pace and with the drop from the mile look for a bit more punch in the stretch...
