2- Mount Wilton
1- Soaring By
While the morning line favorite Banking Holiday, who exits a very fast heat, figures to get a favorable setup stalking the early speed in this race, we're going to land on the value play El Chile Dog.
Two races back this gelding's effort at the $12,500 claiming level puts him right in the mix with this group. In that race, after getting off a step slow, he was faced with a soft pace, but he managed a very nice late rally to finish second beaten about two lengths by a sharp drop down and even money favorite in All In No Outs.
Toscano bumped him up in class for his last start going longer and he rallied late with interest when off the board in a race where he was overmatched. Today he drops a notch below his game second place finish from two back while returning to the seven furlong distance and the value he will offer in this spot is worth going after.
We'll complete our exotics with Mount Wilton, who finished well enough at this level in last after a five wide trip and Soaring By, who gets a positive jockey change to the leading rider Dominguez.
