The 1st couple days are in the books now at DelMar and with the attendance record we had on opening day raising the bar to the highest level we are determined to make this meet live up to all that is was billed to be from our corner. Exciting maiden race on slate for Saturday and 2 stakes races as well on the 10 race card. The 50 cent late Pick 4 on Sunday looks double live for us with a real deep San Clemente Stakes highlighting the day and a California Bred stake to kick it all off!! The Polytrack here is being fine tuned by the day and appears to have only a slight off the pace edge as we speak. The turf course is bouncy and in dynamite condition as horses are breezing over it left and right in the a.m. before the races even begin. The beautiful young crowds have shown up in groves making DelMar unique to any racing in the world!! On the news front, Patrick Valenzuela has been given the green light to return to the saddle which further enhances without any question the deepest riding colony we have seen in some time. Twirling Candy lived up to his superstar billing in the opening day featured Oceanside Stakes for J Sadler and hometown owner Jenny Craig.
