Tuesday is traditionally a dark day for racing in So Cal with racing set to resume at Hollywood Park tomorrow Wednesday which will be opening day for the spring/summer meet. Looks like a solid opening day card and I am excited to see the 2 year olds kick into the spot light with the opening race hopefully setting the tone for us clockers on some profits for the meet.
By the way---really excited about Churchill Downs opening day on Saturday as we will have the "spotlight" on the entire racing season under the Twin Spires. I have been given much positive feedback on the newly installed lighting system which will add to the accuracy of the art of watching and analyzing thoroughbreds training in Louisville at Churchill Downs before dawn.
As for the rest of the story---pop open my blog Wed for further Oaks and Derby updates as today is my family day with the kids and I will have plenty of good stuff ready for the remainder of the week. Toby Turrell
